HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR KNITWEAR
A I R I N G your knit between wears is the best way to keep it feeling fresh and last longer between washes. Wool has antibacterial, self-cleaning properties and will get rid of odours naturally. Turn your knit inside out and leave hanging over a chair or hanger for a few hours. Outside is best for a lovely fresh feeling.
H A N D W A S H in lukewarm water with a small drop of natural soap or delicate detergent. Leave to soak for 15 minutes. Rinse in the same temperature of water to avoid shrinkage/felting. Gently ring out your knit being careful not to stretch or distort the shape, then roll in a towel to squeeze out any remaining water. Arrange the knit into its original shape and dry flat on a towel, away from direct heat. Once dry, steam iron on a medium setting to get rid of any creases and distortions.
L O N G E V I T Y - Never hang your knitwear- instead, store it folded to help prevent stretching, especially around the neckline. If your piece ever needs a little care, feel free to get in touch.
